SchwuZ - BerlinIf you're going to Berlin you should definitely check out what is happening in a club called Schwuz. It's hidden away with the main entrance in the back of a cafe but once you get inside it is cavernous. I went there on a Madonnamania night (I think they hold these quite often) and there were three rooms (and an outside terrace) playing every Madonna song imaginable all night long.
The mixed crowd was incredibly friendly (even though I didn't speak any German - their English was pretty good). My favourite thing about this club was the relaxed attitude of the barstaff. I asked them at 6am what time the place was closed and was told 'whenever people stop dancing' - barstaff and landlords in London take note!
Well worth a visit, though make sure you check out what is on there on the particular night you are going.
