So, anyways... as some of you will already know I've been bedbound for the past week because of an unfortunate incident with a kitchen appliance - but the less said about that the better. Let's just say it's almost fixed now - and so's the hand-blender.
One good thing is that all this time in bed has given me time to catch up on my TV so, having rewatched my L Word boxsets twice, I settled down on Saturday evening to watch The X Factor. I haven't watched any of those talent shows since Rosie Ribbons got knocked out in the Pop Idol heats a few years back but I've been watching this one ever since I read about Dannii's alleged romp with a busty blonde in the papers a few Sundays back. I'd swear I saw her licking her lips when she put the Fallen Angels girlband through to Bootcamp a few weeks back. What a dark horse she is. As for the contestants, I have no idea where they get them from. There was a family on it this week who were so shocking that I was waiting for Ant and Dec to pull off the fatsuits and reveal that it was all actually one big hoax. Sadly they didn't - it was all too real.
So last night I settled down to watch Miss Marple, or Marple as it is these days, and almost choked on my Horlick's when the killer was revealed at the end - yes, it were the lesbians what done it!
That’s my lot. Catch you next week x
