So anyways, I'm up and about again and feeling much better (thanks for not asking) and I went to see the Bad Girls last night. And no, it's not what you're thinking - I haven't gone back on my vow not to go back into G-A-Y's basement bar - it was the musical version of the TV show I was at.

The cast were playing to a far from sell-out crowd and I have to say my expectations were initially quite low - but against the odds I loved it! Although there were a few times when you might have thought you had stumbled into Candy Bar: The Musical (shudder), overall the songs were great and there were lots of laughs - in fact, our Bridie spat out her Haagen Das at one point. Makes a change from her dummy!

I've no doubt that bad girl Nikki, who has a crush on the governor, would have most of you lot drooling at the mouth and she is well worth the admission price alone, but for me it was leather-clad gangster's wife Yvonne Atkins who stole the show. She could give me a lift on her helicopter rope ladder anyday!
