Our first night we stayed one night in the YMCA in Mission - was really nice and clean and had a Sky Bar on the top floor. It was also walking distance to the Lexington Club. This area doesn't look that nice but is close to some cool bars.
We then stayed in Union Square which didn't have as much character as some of the other areas we visited here.
Restaurants - I highly recommend The Last Supper on Valencia http://www.lastsupperclubsf.com. Kinda pricey but if you think how strong the GBP is you need not worry. Again its in this up and coming area of Mission
NAPA VALLEY - If you are a film buff, go to Francis Ford Coppola's vineyard. Its got all their(Francis Ford and Sofia) film memorabilia on display including his Oscars. Bravo, I say. |
